NH Electric Co-op Foundation and a Community Fundraiser

Kismet Rock Foundation recently received a grant award of $3,500.00 from the New Hampshire Electric Co-op Foundation.  These funds will help cover the tuition costs for two students from Bartlett, NH to attend Kismet for the 2016 summer program season.  We are very grateful for this award and excited about the level of support we receive from the community.

This grant is made possible by NH Electric Co-op members who participate in the Round-up program and have their monthly electric bill rounded up to the nearest dollar.  The average annual donation is approximately six dollars a year.  It’s amazing what six dollars can do!  If you would like to learn more, follow this link to the NHEC Round-up program.

Kismet’s Spring Community Fundraiser

Two members of the Kismet Family recently hosted a fundraiser to upgrade our climbing harnesses and shoes.  They raised enough money to purchase 15 pairs of climbing shoes from Evolv Sports, and 15 climbing harnesses from Petzl with the help of IME-International Mountain Equipment in North Conway, NH.  Check out the gear:
